FREE Insurance Review

Sadly we often see individuals and businesses with inadequate cover to suit their needs.  As businesses grow, the level of insurance required also grows, and individuals may buy new possessions without taking their value into account when renewing their insurance.

This is why we offer a FREE review of all insurance requirements.

The review will include our recommendations to adjust the type and level of insurance to exactly match your current circumstances, ensuring an appropriate level of cover, and our quote when renewal is due.  We can undertake a review at any time; there is no need to wait until your policy is about to expire.

Visitor Day 16 FebThe members of Olympus have a long standing reputation for running popular Visitor Days where a meeting is opened up for companies to come along and find out about the group. We’ll help you with business contacts and making personal introductions to key decision-makers in companies both local and international, small and large.

Visitors went away having enjoyed the meeting and some received new business immediately. For our members it was a chance to network with a wide circle of contacts – you never know where that next dream referral is coming from. Who would be your new best client?

With my best Michael Caine impression – “not many people know that …”

… was actually filmed on location at BNI Olympus – not saying we must be the best group in the region, but why else would the film crew come and document one of our meetings! Come and see for yourself – and we’ll see if we can find you some new customers whilst you’re at it.

What is BNI all about? Tell me about BNI business networking in Preston, Chorley and Leyland.

BNI Olympus will be holding a visitor morning on Tuesday 16 February 2010 at Shaw Hill Golf Club, kicking off at 6.45am. If you’ve heard about BNI but never been along this will be the perfect time to come and find out all about BNI.

Past BNI visitor events at Olympus have been attended by 50-60 or more local companies, looking to help each other find that perfect business introduction.

This could be the dream start to 2010 for your business, just come and tell us who you would most like to meet. What customer would transform your business?

If you’re interested in coming along then drop a quick note to membership@bnipreston.co.uk for details. We have been short of space at events previously so book your place sooner rather than later. Alternatively give Mike a call on 07740 363232 if you just want some info.

Look forward to seeing you all on 16 Feb and doing some smart business – not just any business!

BNI-Loc-Glob-Logo-Registered

A very Happy New Year to all our members past and present and especially to anyone coming to Shaw Hill to visit us this year. We’ve got plans to grow the group and develop more contacts, more referrals and more business. That’s what we’re all here for.

If you’re interested in coming along one time and seeing what its all about, hopefully pick up some new business and meet some local companies, take a look at the details on the When and Where page. Alternatively give Mike Gelder a call on 01772 860776.

Above, you can see the new BNI logo to celebrate 2010 and the fact that the organisation has been running 25 years this year. That’s a lot of experience at helping companies grow, whether you’re looking for contacts that are local or global.

If you’re looking to do business, come and see how we do business – what have you got to lose, more importantly how much do you want to gain?

Looking forward to seeing you at Shaw Hill in 2010.

NDAC - National Driver Assessment Centres

At National Driver Assessment Centres training for road drivers is our remit and the benefits of having your fleet vehicles and company drivers assessed and trained cannot be underestimated, particularly if you have exposure to the effects of the Corporate Manslaughter and Health & Safety (Driving for Work) Acts which have both been revised recently. – please read at www.ndac.uk.com for more information.

Our Skid Car fleet, with twelve skid pans’ across England and Wales is mainly aimed at training the company driver although it can be done as a purely fun exercise – see www.nccc.uk.com for more information. The benefits of having a trained driving force are that you can save money on fuel, get insurance discounts though our scheme with Towergate TLC and mitigate against prosecution should one of your drivers have an accident whilst on company business.

Merry Christmas

Olympus bowling team does the business

Winning Team

BNI Olympus played host last night to one of the other BNI groups, known as Invincible. The venue was Tenpin at the Capitol Centre in Preston. Invincible failed to live up to their name and you can see the winning Olympus team pictured above. A successful evening enjoyed by all, one that is sure to be repeated in 2010. Maybe we’ll even line up a trophy.

Caption Competition10 pin bowling last night did yield a photo or two which cry out for a caption. We’ll spare you the gangrenous one of Martin in favour of this. Click the picture to go large.

Click in to the comments and post your own caption … we’ll find a suitable accolade for the best one at the next business network meeting.
